In a 4 Point centrifuge the vibration are isolated with a help of heavy Inertia Plate and Anti Vibration Mounts instead of a 3 point pendulum suspension where the vibration of centrifuge are isolated with a help of Spring and Pendulum Bolts arrangement.
The centrifuges mounted on 4 Point are slowly replacing the 3 Pendulum machines because of the following inherent benefits.
Advantages of 4 Point Mounting:

- Does not require elaborate or a very heavy foundation.
- Level of vibrations much lower.
- Can be easily mounted on upper floors.
- Machine can be easily re-located.
Almost negligible maintenance cost for mounting/ mounting system, since there are no wearing parts such as Pendulum Bolts, Bush and spring as in 3 pendulum mounting machine.
